Shuttled

Shuttled
By Rusty LaGrange, High Desert Branch

If wings, to soar
men to the moon, could hover soft
and touch my check, then I, too,
wish the ride be swift and, dauntless,
carry my eyes up, too.
And view the Earth
through cosmic tears.

The voyage in my heart
beats strong, soon the time will tell,
when astronauts devour skies
beyond our Universe.
