It’s Christmas!

Holly berries frosted with snow
Rosy cheeks all aglow
Tussles with snowballs
and a frosty man
There is a scent of evergreen boughs
mingled with odors from the
oven just now
Red ribbons tied to sprigs of
mistletoe
Some lover will find each one of them
and steal a few kisses below
Twinkle of lights
Glittering on the tree
Gayly decorated packages I see
The fireplace crackles with cheerful
warmth
to warm hands and hearts of all
While outside the world glistens
with snow
Inside there is love for all to bestow
It’s Christmas!
