A Sister’s Love

 A Sister’s Love
To My Sister, Cheryl
By Carole Wagener, Coastal Dunes Branch

Who loves to garden and grow the flowers,

Who sits and talks with me for hours;

What a loving and carefree,

Laughing spirit you are;

Like the golden California poppies

Which grow on the hillsides afar.

Our sisterhood is precious like gold,

For so many others to behold.

I know it’s a gift

From God up above,

Because no gold can buy

This kind of LOVE.

Happy Birthday,

From your “Lil Sis”,

Carole
